Founded in 1935 in north Birmingham, Simon-Williamson Clinic, P.C. is named after two founding visionaries, Harold E. Simon, MD and Byrn Williamson, MD. In addition to forming Birmingham's first group practice, the doctors initiated a philosophy expressed as "not just treating the sick, but caring for people. " In 1975, SWC moved from Norwood to the campus of Princton Baptist and have been based there for over 40 years. Over the years, despite the changes that have taken place in medicine, the clinic has remained committed to the philosophy and purpose of "service to people. " After continued growth, we now consist of 36 physicians in 14 specialties. In 2007, the Clinic moved into a new 113,000 square foot building on the Baptist Princeton campus and have since been able to expand the range of medical services that we provide. We have on-site state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities and on-site physical therapy.
